NHL '98 cheats and cheat codes for PC

Unlock network mode:
Click on the "X" in the main menu then, highlight the "Credits" option
and type ultimatejudge to unlock the "Connection" option in the
main menu. In the "Conncetion" option, select Internet.
Enter you opponents IP address to play in network mode.

Cheat codes:
Enter the following codes during the game play.

Code - Cheat Effect:
ZAMBO - Brings the Zamboni on the ice during the game
VICTORY - Starts fireworks below the scoreboard
superslap - Once entered, press SHOOT three times quickly for an easy goal
SPOTS - Turns on the pregame spot lights in the crowd
PENALTY - Causes a 5 minute major + a game misconduct to be called
NHLKIDS - Smaller players
MANTIS - Bigger players
INJURY - Duh, just be sure you hit them first.
HOMEGOAL - Scores a goal for the home team
GRAB - Enables grabbing each time you hit someone, like check.
GLOW - Glowing puck
giptea - Powerplay awarded to team that allowed last goal
FLASH - Camera flashes from the crowd
EAEAO - Gives you the EA Blades team
CHECK - Killer code enables you to flatten a player by skating into him
AWAYGOAL - Scores a goal for the away team
stanley - View the end of season video


Players with maximum stats:
Go to "Create Player" and enter the name of one of the main guys in the
credits name. It will ask if you want the same ratings as him - go to Yes.
The player you just created will be maxed out!
